Turning / Vändning

Baby N turned around today, from back to stomage. She was so proud!

I had good company on my walk today. My friends kids brought their beautiful umbrellas and we headed out in the pouring rain with dog Ebba.

It's Mother's Day here in Swden tomorrow. When my oldest daughter lived at home she always made me pink boiled eggs for breakfast on Mother's Day. I miss that. I am looking forward to tomorrow.

Cake and breastfeeding / Tårta & amning

We had guests tonight. It was really a workgroup with people specialised on breastfeeding issues. Everybody brought a little something to eat since it was the last time we got together before summer. (I couldn't eat anything but salad because of my allergies). But my favourite cake tonight was this Norwegian cake. It is so beautiful. Some of the ingredients are white chocolate, peanut butter, coconut and strawberry. Yum!

I love the tenderness in this picture. A man and his dog (my oldest son).
Jag älskar ömheten i bilden. En man och hans hund (min äldste son).

And now something pink! It's related to breastfeeding.
Och nu - något rosa. Det har iaf med amning att göra...

First time in the sun

We had beautiful weather today. Sunny and approximately 15 degrees Celcious in the shadow.
I visited my friend and we put the babies out on a blanket to play. It was the first  time for baby N. She had lots of fun.

We have spent most of the day outdoors. The grass has been cut, we have put up a new sandbox that someone gave the little girls & lots of other gardening stuff. It feels nice to have everything in order.

Someone had thrown away an entire aquarium yesterday (including everything except fish, water and food). We thought the designe was cool, so we brought it in. I like how it turned out with our fishes.

And now - something pink. One of my flowers. It's beautiful right now.
Och nu - något rosa. En av mina trädgårdsblommor. Den blommar vackert just nu.

Ikeas ice pops / Ikeas isglass

Yesterday I made the first cocacola icepops with the containers I bought from IKEA.

They are very practical since they have a lid. I used cocacola zero. My oldest son tasted one for breakfast this morning and was very satisfied. He put it under warm water a couple of seconds before squeezing up the icecream.
I recommend it to families with kids. It's both fun and easy. They are made of silicone.
Jag rekommenderar dem till barnfamiljer. Det är både roligt och enkelt. De är gjorda i silikon.

EEG

Today miss J went through an EEG. She is so brave, our trooper! She's had episodes of strange absence seizures. Now we have to anciously wait two weeks to find out the results. I pray that the epilepsy isn't getting worse. I hate that disease!

She received her first ring as a reward for her bravery!

We have her a small box of candy and some pear juice after. She's tired, but doing ok.

New: bilingual text / Nyhet: tvåspråkigt inlägg

My oldest daughter's out of the hospital now. The doc's admitted they don't have a clue to what's really wrong and sent her home after 1,5 weeks. She's a medical phenomena.
I wish they would have sent her to a bigger hospital though... She really needs her eyesight (well who doesn't ?).

Here's us this past weekend during the "Mammamingel". She might be going blind, but she's fabulous (as she says)....

We had a morning visit by some Finns and they brought with them my order from the Finish Red Cross. I've been waiting impatiently for these... They are ecological bags for fruit & vegetables (instead of putting the grocerys in plastic bags).
I look so much forward to start using these and do yet another little thing for our environment.

Playtime! Me and miss J played with some masquerade stuff at the last ordinary "Mommy & I open preeschool" today. We had lots of fun and we're gonna miss our play dates there during the very long summer break. They don't open again until September.

Lekdags!

I'm nervous! Tomorrow miss J's gonna have an EEG. She's had some strange episodes and her neurologist fears that the epilepsy might be back.
I worry about my smart and happy toddler J. I want her to be happy, play and just be a "normal" little girl.
I'll update more tomorrow.

And doneringar pink! I love pink./ Nu något rosa! Jag älskar rosa!
From the new collection of Me&I clothes. I love this one.
Från nya kollektionen av Me&I. Jag älskar den här.

Mammamingel

Time flies. Everything is so intense. The last couple of weeks has just been flying by me even faster than usual.
I'm very worried about what is going on with my oldest daughter and the strange disease that has struck her eye. It's very frustrating that the doctors can find answers to what is wrong.

We had a great time together this weekend. We went to "Mammamingel 2015" which is really a day that celebrate mothers.
This was my third year and I think I will go back next year as well. It feels very luxurious to have a day pampering ourselves as mothers. The goodiebags are awesome, the food is nice and the company is great.

Here we are having the non-alcoholic welcome drink. They had even rolled out the red carpet for us.

Our men were taking care of the youngest children while we were having fun at the gala. The toddlers and R enjoyed the fresh country air and the water. They played until they almost dropped.

We loved our stay at Idingstad hotel and conference. Thank you to everybody who made that possible for us. This will be weekend that we will never forget.

This is my oldest grandson. He is the coolest boy ever. It has been so fun to have a chance to spend time with him.

My toddler really enjoy being outdoors this weekend.

My favourite food this weekend was the vegan pannacotta. That was really delicious.
I will write again soon. By for now!

High heals

We went to the "mommy and I" - open preeschool today. The program there fits our kids well. First there is playtime, then singing and dancing, after that we have "fika" (sitting down and having coffe/tea and eating a fruit or sandwich together - Swedes do that a lot, even during work hours). Then the kids get to play some more before it's time to go home.

Miss J thinks it's good to have daddy to hold on to while walking in high heals.

My husband spent half the night yesterday on fixing broken cables. Today all the equipment work! Good job!
Daddy and miss J are having a snack (fika) in the afternoon.

Me in the rain.
It's been a long day. The house is clean, the kids are all sleeping and I am going to bed.
Thank God for a beautiful spring.

Defrosting and baby rabbits

We have ten tiny new family members. Our two rabbitmoms has given birth to ten little ones. It's gonna be so fun seing them grow and experience the summer with them.

The rest of the day has been spent cleaning the freezer from a huge layer of ice. Six hours later I finally see the original shelves.

I also brought baby N with me on one of the walks with dog Ebba. Baby N loves tagging along in the ergo carrier.

Then it was the clothdiapers time to get washed and hanged. I love washing and foalding them. Diaperorigami - is my word for it. And - yes - I absolutely love pink!

This is happy baby N enjoying the outdoors.

We had one of our close friends over for a visit yesterday evening and we had a great time together. I so appreciate when there is time to socialise with friends.

It's Mother's Day in most of the worlds countries today (but not here). I just want to wish all of you wonderful mothers out there: Happy Mother's Day!

Having 8 kids

I have had a pause from my blogging. Having 8 kids takes a lot of time. And there is a lot of planning involved!
So I've had to made prioritys. The blogging had to wait.
This is our entire family. I love these guys! Our pater Josef and sister Dorothea are also in the picture. They have been close to our family for many years and feel life family to us.
I treasure each time all of the kids are home with their families.
Every time we're apart - I miss them. It's  such a blessing to have both small kids and grown up kids with their own families. Life becomes so rich! And I am so happy to share in all of their big and small problems.
Family is all that matters!

I have got new glasses from Björn Borg. They are the kind to wear at all times. I've just started to try to get my eyes used to wearing them.

Miss Ruth is 13

Happy birthday 25 April to my precious forth teenager. Thirteen is a good year!
We gave her her very first own computer. Pimped with bling and pink, of course! Pink is her favourite colour.
I look forward to your teenage years and everything new that will come your way.
You are a beautiful young woman and I am endlessly proud of you!

And here is her computer!
